It seems that FDM is more popular than Orbit, I suppose it depends on your requirements.

I tried Orbit once, but it really sucked! So I’d go for FDM, rather than Orbit because of the number of features it has.

I use FDM too. It is one of the best. Easy for beginners too.

I have not tried Orbit. i use FDM and sometimes Flashget
