Information Addicts

Just as physical activity keeps your body strong, mental activity can keep your mind active, youthful and sharp. One way to do this is to constantly challenge yourself by learning new skills.
I must admit that I really enjoy learning something new, and hate anything repetitious. What ever your age it is never too late to start learning new things.
The internet can be a mine of free information, and really useful when you are wanting to learn a new skill. However, trying to find complete or 100% free accurate information on a subject can be difficult.
A few weeks ago, I was surfing the internet and came across 2 3 brilliant free online learning course websites that cover hundreds of subjects.

Online Education Database.
The first website is unlike any other, as it is an online education database which has courses from big names like Yale, MIT, and Tufts, and you don’t even have to submit an application or pay a penny (cent) in tuition fees. It has over 200 courses and covers many different subjects, from Engineering & Computer Science, to learning a new language. When you click on a course, it tells you how many hours it will take to cover, an introduction to what you will learn, and also the skill level acquired at the end. This site is a gem, take a look.

Vision2learn.
The next free online learning course website is called Vision2learn, and unfortunately is for UK residents only. Compared to over 200 courses of the online education database mentioned earlier, Vision2learn only covers around 20 different subjects. Don’t let that put you off, as new subjects are added, and if you are interested in learning an IT skill that leads to an NVQ qualification then this may be for you.
Other subjects covered are iMeda, Team Leading, Sports Coaching amongst others.
What I like about Vision2learn is that you can get online help  anytime throughout the course from a tutor employed by your local college.

Just added: As you may well know, there are many online photoshop courses available, however if you are only looking to learn the basics then this one may be of interest to you. If you are looking for something more comprehensive then try this website.
