Gear4 bluetooth headphones are music to your ears
I had been looking for some cordless headphones for my MP3 player for a while, and after much searching and looking at many reviews decided on the Gear4 New BluPhone headphones. I have had various corded headphones in the past, and although the sound on some of them was very good (especially the Sony ones that came with my CD player bought many moons ago) I always found that the cord would get in the way.
At only 26grams these headphones felt light and comfortable in my ears, however, even though they come with two different ear bud sizes my wife could not get them to fit and so were no good for her, so I guess they don’t fit everyone. The spring wire joining the two ear pieces together seems pretty strong, so hopefully no danger of breaking these. The sound and clarity of these headphones is pretty good but they cannot beat my Sony earphones of which I compare all earphones (headphones) to. I also found that if these headphones are not fitted correctly in the ears, then the sound quality and bass is very poor but once fitted correctly stayed put. I love the fact that when you are listening to your music, and if you have a A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile) compatible phone which is most phones these days and a call comes, through then your music is paused and you are alerted to the incoming call. Answering the call couldn’t be any easier as there is a smart button you use, and if you are really enjoying your music then you can even deny the call. You can control the volume and even skip tracks with these headphones.
Here are some of the features:
- 5 hour music playing/talk time
- 60 hour standby time
- 10 metre wireless range (this info is from the website)
Overall I would recommend these bluetooth headphones, and if you buy them from Amazon and don’t like them, you can always send them back.
