Got no problem with FF2… waiting for the feedback of FF3. i hope FF3 will be fix after the trial.

Its great to talk again, as long as you back up before you try any new software, then your computer is safe, and if you have any problems then you just need to restore your backup.

Great article, Jeff!

I follow Barbara’s strategies with all Microsoft and other commercial software. FireFox, however, is free so why not dive in?

I initially thought that the zoom view was simplifying things. Then I realized that the pages were all displaying at the zoom setting I last selected. #8 took care of my problem nicely when I set it to “text only.”

Barbara,
I like your idea, if it isn’t broke why fix it.
I have separate partitions, so I can test them first. If they go wrong then nothing is lost.

And then (and only then!) consider upgrading.

I’m with Sam. FF2 is going along fine for me right now and hopefully with a little bit more time FF3 will be closer to advertised. THAT is when I’ll start using it. (#):)

Hi Jeff,
At the moment I am happy with Firefox 2 but know that I will eventually be forced to update to FF3. When that time comes hopefully all the bugs will be gone.
